 It’s best to eat a light meal and drink plenty of water before your session. A hydrated body helps your veins respond better to the IV, making the process smoother and more comfortable. Avoid coming in on an empty stomach. 

 Yes, most routine medications are fine to take as prescribed. However, please let our medical staff know about any medications or supplements you’re currently taking through your GFE (Good Faith Estimate) form before your appointment. This helps us ensure your IV therapy is safe and customized to your needs — especially if you’re taking blood thinners, antibiotics, or have any recent medical treatments. 

 Wear something comfortable with sleeves that can be rolled up easily. Since you’ll be seated and relaxing for 30–60 minutes, cozy clothing makes the experience more enjoyable. 

 Absolutely! You can sip water, enjoy a light snack, or scroll on your phone while you relax. We recommend staying hydrated before, during, and after your IV to support optimal absorption. 

 After your infusion, continue drinking plenty of water throughout the day and eat a balanced meal to help maintain your electrolyte levels. You can return to your normal activities right away — just listen to your body and rest if you feel extra relaxed or energized.
Our Registered Nurse (RN) will also provide post-IV instructions before you leave to help you get the most out of your treatment and ensure a safe recovery.
